Eye, EMDR for trauma therapy in Maine and New York

"I struggle in relationships..."

"I don't know/trust myself and my thoughts and emotions..."

"I feel on edge..."

"I feel numb..."

"I don't why I feel bad, I just do..."

"I don't know how to talk about it..."

These are some common statements that I hear from clients that are just beginning therapy with us.

These expressions are all symptoms of trauma.

We are a trauma-informed Practice that uses evidence-based treatments such as Ketamine Assisted Therapy, EMDR, and other holistic therapies to assist you on your healing journey.

Modalities

  • EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is one of the most effective treatments for PTSD. It can, also, help you with anxiety, chronic pain, and depression.

  • Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy combines the medicine of ketamine with the integration of psychotherapy to help you more efficiently and holistically heal depression, PTSD, and anxiety.

  • KAP/EMDR Weekend Intensives

We offer a more concentrated and immersive experience in Portland, Maine. These intensives allow for deeper exploration and accelerated relief.

I started working with Mollie this year, and I can say with the utmost sincerity that our sessions have transformed my life. She is empathetic, sharp, and incredibly insightful. I’ve been in and out of therapy for more than a decade and have never felt compelled to be as open and vulnerable as I am with her. EMDR, especially, has been life-changing in terms of eradicating my deeply embedded shame and processing my feelings. I cannot recommend Mollie highly enough.

DETAILS

Initial phone consultation

We provide a free initial phone consultation to see if we are a good therapeutic match. This phone call will last between 10-15 minutes.

Sessions and Cancellation Policy

  • Session duration can range from 45 minutes-3 hours depending on the course of treatment

  • All weekly sessions are provided via telehealth

  • KAP and Weekend Intensives are offered in-person in Portland, ME.

Lateness and Cancellation Policy:

Consistency is key in seeing progress in treatment, but I understand that life happens and people get sick, have to go out of town, etc.  Teletherapy is great because it offers lots of flexibility in regards to scheduling. Clients must provide 24 hours notice of cancellation. If this notice is not given, the client is responsible for the full fee of the missed session. Clinicians will make every effort to reschedule, but there is not guarantee.

Fees/Payment:

The rate structure is something we discuss during the initial phone consultation. It may range from $125-$1000 based on clients' needs and financial circumstances. We offer a sliding scale for a limited amount of clients on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, those seeking intensive care  (2 or more sessions per week) and/or KAP may be eligible for a discounted rate.

Like many other clinicians, we have decided against joining many insurance panels. The main reason for this choice is to protect the privacy and quality of care for our clients. We are considered an out-of-network providers and will provide you with the necessary documentation to seek reimbursement from your insurance company.
